Better for Everyone

When specialist outsourced call centre provider Better for Everyone was first set up five years ago, they needed expert advice on the financial aspects of running a new business – but delivered in an informal style, free of accounting jargon.

Bradford-based Better for Everyone aimed to fill a gap in the market for a pro-active, non-aggressive call centre which could manage any telephone campaign for clients, from helpdesks and telesales to disaster recovery, research, surveys and order processing.

Managing director Alison Widdup was introduced to Watson Buckle partner David Warren through a mutual contact at Bradford University’s Business Incubator.

At their first meeting, David took Alison through the accounting and regulatory requirements on business, and she was so impressed that she quickly brought her fledgling company on board as a client.

She said: “Our discussion was very informal and friendly, not at all like you would expect a meeting with an accountant to be, and our relationship has continued that way every since.
