Accountants Support City College’s Star Achievers

Bradford chartered accountants Watson Buckle have shown their support for local students by sponsoring two prizes at a high profile awards event in the city. The Bradford School of Business & Law, part of Bradford College, held its annual awards ceremony on 4 June to celebrate the academic and personal success of business, law and computing students. Watson Buckle was among a number of companies to sponsor awards at the event, which attracted more than £5,900 in sponsorship in total. The accountancy firm presented £100 each to Ashley Scott, who achieved the best performance in Introduction to Financial Accounting, and to Mdaya Clemency, for the best performance in Financial Accounting Applications. Mark Wilcock, an associate at Watson Buckle, who presented the awards to Ashley and Mdaya on the firm’s behalf, said: “We are delighted to give our support to this very worthwhile event. “By joining in this celebration of success at Bradford College, we hope to inspire prize winners and other students to continue their journey of achievement.” |
