New tax role for Jennifer
Jennifer Bowie has been promoted to personal tax manager at Bradford-based chartered accountants Watson Buckle, where she will be helping the firm’s personal clients to keep their tax affairs in order.
Jennifer has worked as a tax professional for over 20 years, having started at Watson Buckle in 1987.
In her new role, she will be working for a variety of clients, providing advice on matters including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax, but will develop her skills by offering tax planning advice and dealing with tax investigations by HM Revenue and Customs.
Jennifer said: “Taxation is a complex and challenging field. Each year brings new legislation and changes to existing tax law. I hope to use the experience and technical knowledge I have built up over more than 20 years as a tax professional to ensure our clients continue to receive the best possible service.
“As Personal Tax Manager, I look forward to working on more demanding technical cases and devoting more time to building on the professional – but still personal – relationship our clients have come to expect from Watson Buckle.”
