Watson Buckle client named as one of the UK’s top-50 best farm shops
Bradford-based chartered accountancy firm Watson Buckle says it is proud of the success of its award-winning client, Keelham Farm Shop, after it was named as one of The 50 Best Farm Shops in the UK.
Keelham Farm Shop, based at Keelham Hall in Thornton, near Bradford, was also named in top-10 best farm shops in the north, in the guide published in The Independent.
The listing adds to the growing list of success for brother and sister directors James and Victoria Robertshaw, who in December landed the prestigious national title of “Non-Multiple Retailer of the Year” in the 2010 Food and Farming Industry Awards.
John Kinsella, a tax and corporate finance partner at Watson Buckle, has been working closely with Keelham Farm Shop, advising them on business and tax-related matters and reducing their tax liabilities.
In April, John was awarded a Lifetime Achievement certificate for Making a Real Difference to the farm shop.

In March 2011, Keelham Farm Shop also took home an award at the T&A Bradford Means Business Awards, winning in the Retail or Hospitality Business of the Year Category.
The business was also highly commended in the 2010 Taste Yorkshire Awards for its home-made Yorkshire pork, rhubarb and mango sausages.
