Susan M Sedgwick BSc (Hons), FCA

Susan Sedgwick gained a BSc (Hons) degree in economics and geography before qualifying as an accountant with PKF. She joined MGI Watson Buckle in 1980, becoming a partner in 1987 and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) in 1990

She specialises in working with the subsidiaries of overseas holding companies, smaller housing associations, not for profit organisations and printing businesses. Her expertise includes audit, corporation tax and tax planning, staff recruitment and development and practice management.

As the joint owner-manager of a successful restaurant and wine bar in the 1980s, Susan has a particular understanding of issues facing businesses and she also uses her professional expertise in her role as director of Young Enterprise for Yorkshire and the Humber. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients, from the UK and overseas, and finds particular satisfaction in helping them to resolve challenges and problems.
